 |

Each and every week “William Wallace” MK2Fac3 and “Wallace William” Henchman21 read a lot of comics. Seriously you guys, a lot of comics. Maybe too many comics. I mean, it is possible”¦ theoretically. They look forward to some more than others, I mean, who doesn’t? So, let’s take a look into the depths of their pull lists, grab some comics, and we’ll let YOU know what the top books to look forward to are for the week of December 7, 2011. Single issues and trades, they’re all here. Two men enter. One man leaves. These are the rules of any cage match that does not feature more than two opponents. However, if the “fight to the death” stipulation is invoked, then the rules will be changed slightly into this: Two men enter. One man lives. The best cage matches tend to have what could be considered as a “David v. Goliath” element to them in which one opponent is much larger and threatening than the other, but the smaller of the two men posses the heart to face any and all opposition without hesitation. In these situations, it’s customary for the big man to be the likely winner, but everyone is cheering for the small guy. Now you may be asking yourself, what do the rules and excitement of violent cage matches have to do with this week’s comics? I have a simple reply my friends, absolutely nothing. Here are the comics that we’re looking forward to this week!

Each week, MK2Fac3 and Henchman21 read a lot of comics. Seriously, a lot of comics. Maybe too many comics. They look forward to some more than others, I mean, who doesn’t? So, let’s take a look into the depths of their pull list, grab some issues and we’ll let YOU know what the top books to look forward to are for the week of April 28, 2011. Single issues and trades, they’re all here. MK2Fac3 ISSUES Batman, Incorporated #5 (DC Comics – $2.99): I know I say this a lot, but every week that Batman, Incorporated comes out is a week that I will list Batman, Incorporated as my top pick of the week. It’s an addiction, truly it is. I’ve read Grant Morrison’s Batman run multiple times, and the new addition keeps me salivating for more clues on the future for The Dark Knight. Each issue, is a romp through camp, complexity, and insanity, while giving nods to all eras of The Caped Crusader by showing us the Batmen of all nations. Yannick Paquette returns to the title to show us a tale of the other British Batman, and I could not be more excited. Each issue is a blast, and each issue is my favorite issue of the series. Yes, if you’re wondering, I’m both a Morrison and Batman fanboy. And this book makes me proud to be one.

| New ‘Venom’ On-Going Series Coming In March |
 |
Everyone’s favorite symbiote is getting a new series thanks to writer Rick Remender and artist Tony Moore.
That’s right, Venom is getting another ongoing series this March from Marvel Comics so you better get ready. The series will feature the creative team of Remender and Moore, the pair having previously teamed up on Fear Agent and Franken-Castle, and it’s a pairing that has created some great comics together, so I’m more excited to see that than I am the particular character of the book. According to Marvel, the series will see the alien entity that is one of Spider-Man’s deadliest enemies joining with a new host that is familiar to fans who is then forced to work with the government. The new series was masterminded by Amazing Spider-Man writer Dan Slott and editor Steve Wacker, and was then handed off to Remender to flesh out. Slott will set up the series in the pages of Amazing Spider-Man 654.1 in February (part of Marvel’s Point One series), and will continue in Venom #1.
