Well pretty much everyone across the world has been anticipating this movie since Iron Man came out in 2008. I was definitely among that group and had very high expectations for Iron Man. In short I did enjoy myself and had fun watching it but it definitely did not live up to my extremely high expectations. I really wish it had and I also really wish it didn’t have so much set up for other movies in it and was just what it should have been, a sequel to a really great superhero movie. All that aside we are here to have fun so I won’t harp on all the things I didn’t like about the movie. What I loved about both Iron Man and Iron Man 2 is the graphics and they definitely hold up in this go around just as much as the first one. I still love Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark and I pretty much love Mickey Rourke and Sam Rockwell in anything, even though Rourke was underused and Rockwell was just an annoying less-successful copy of Tony Stark. I also really love the addition of scenes with Clark Gregg, the mysterious agent of S.H.I.E.L.D., and new characterization of Howard Stark, played by a new favorite of mine John Slattery. I still am a little shaky on the casting choice for Black Widow because I don’t buy Scarlett Johansson being as badass as Black Widow should be. Might as well have just cast Megan Fox in my opinion. I also didn’t necessarily agree with re-casting James Rhodes with Don Cheadle and didn’t see why it was a requirement since no one can seem to give a straight answer as to why it was done. I still like Don Cheadle as Rhodey but I don’t think it was the best for the movie. I also wasn’t sure why Jon Favreau decided to give himself a more prevalent role. While this isn’t the best made movie or even the most fun I have had in the theater this year, I do suggest going to watch it just for a fun romp and a few great fight scenes. I enjoyed the movie overall and hope that if and when there is a third, that it is back up to par with the first. Anyway, enough of the boring stuff, let’s get on with the SPOILER TALK! The following is my spoiler minefield for Iron Man 2 so step through it and don’t forget to drop a few mines of your own at the end of the post in our comments section.

| ‘Iron Man 2’ International Poster Released
We’ve seen a few posters for Iron Man 2 so far and we’ve even seen a couple of amazing trailers, but another poster never hurt an eager fan’s eyeballs. Yahoo! Movies has debuted the brand new International poster for the much-anticipated sequel from Paramount Pictures. Most of the other one-sheets have focused on something in particular, but this new poster has pretty much everything gathered together. Iron Man and Tony Stark, War Machine and James Rhodes, Black Widow, Pepper Potts, and of course, Whiplash — they’re all here to see. The only notable absentee is Justin Hammer, but more fans probably aren’t going to run to their local theater because he’s on the poster. Head on over to the other side to see the new International poster.

| Watch Now: First Official ‘Iron Man 2’ Trailer Hits Hard! |
|
The past couple of days have seen an insane amount of trailers hitting the web, and we’ll be trying to keep up with the charge with a little trailer bonanza action for you all. First up is the brand new trailer for none other than Iron Man 2! The trailer came after some minor viral marketing hints and clues came together leading to the cut, but as has been discovered, sometimes it’s much easier to just avoid all that and wait for the goods instead of being dragged along Cloverfield style. As you might expect, the trailer is about as bad ass as trailers come…no big shock for Iron Man. You get a peek at all of the characters like Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.), Pepper Potts (Gwyneth Paltrow), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson), and Justin Hammer (Sam Rockwell). You’ll also get a very clear look at Whiplash (Mickey Rourke), how his accent sounds, and just how powerful he is. The trailer is capped off by an interesting image involving War Machine or James Rhodes (Don Cheadle). Yes, we’ve seen him now in the poster and it’s no shock that he’s in the movie, BUT, we were unsure whether he and Stark would do battle or not. Here we see them fighting as a team, so take this as you will. Don’t linger, now; continue on to check out the trailer immediately! Jump to Apple for the HD quality version.

| A Trio Of New ‘Iron Man 2’ Images Follow-Up War Machine Poster |
|
Just a day after the first official Iron Man 2 poster was released, showing off War Machine to us all (Read: War Machine Appears In First Official “˜Iron Man 2″² Poster), Paramount has now put out a few new images to dust it with powdered sugar, so to speak. The images aren’t mind-blowing or anything, but we do get a couple of new looks at Tony Stark doing Tony Stark things and a pretty cool new picture of Whiplash in what looks like a fairly uncomfortable room decorated with Tony Stark news articles scattered about. No one quite knows what the exact storyline will be yet, but it will definitely include the trials and tribulations of Tony Stark after he came out publicly that he’s Iron Man. This attracts unbelievable attention — of both good and bad varieties — to the already recognized Stark, including the scary Whiplash and Justin Hammer, who is now the main man when it comes to weapons dealing after Stark Industries stopped manufacturing them. As mentioned in the War Machine poster story, the Government will also likely be on Stark’s back to hand over the secrets of his incredible suit technology. However, until an official synopsis is put out, these are all mostly assumptions.

| War Machine Appears In First Official ‘Iron Man 2’ Poster |
|
Paramount Pictures has revealed the first official poster for the highly-anticipated mega-sequel, Iron Man 2 via Yahoo!. The poster is fairly basic, as most first posters tend to be. However, there is one fairly exciting addition to the poster that will have fans buzzing, and that of course, is War Machine. This, our first real glance at the popular character and creation of friend-turned-foe James Rhodes (Don Cheadle), simply shows War Machine standing back-to-back with Iron Man, gun ready and eyes glowing red. It is expected that Rhodes creates the suit in order to combat Tony Stark’s (Robert Downey Jr.) creation when Stark refuses to offer his own suit as a military weapon. Iron Man 2 also stars Gwyneth Paltrow who is returning as Pepper Potts, and Samuel L. Jackson back as Nick Fury. New members of the impressive cast include Mickey Rourke as Whiplash, Sam Rockwell as Justin Hammer, and Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow.
