
There’s a lot of great works of art out there, many of which reside in public places for all the world to see.
And while we all have much respect for said works of art, there’s not a thing wrong with wanting to geek things up a bit from time to time, so long as it’s not damaging to said works of art.
Which brings us to Astor Place in New York City’s Manhattan borough, home of the sculpture called Alamo (seen here). Sometimes also called “The Cube,” this work of art was all but begging for a geek makeover in the form of a Portal Weighted Companion Cube costume. And now it has received one, thanks to some pranksters from CalTech.
