The Serpent And The Rainbow

It seems fitting to celebrate tax day, April 15th, with Ghostface hacking and slashing his way through more victims in Scream 4. The first Scream was a clever little piece of film making that unfortunately ripped the heart out of horror films for years after its release. The trailer immediately whisks you back to the Scream of old, and it looks like it will fit right in with the series, with the addition of some new technologies and “rules of surviving a horror movie,” naturally. | ‘True Blood’ & ‘Veronica Mars’ Stars Anna Paquin, Kristen Bell Join Cast Of ‘Scream 4’
Two more impressive actresses have been added to the cast of Wes Craven‘s return to the Scream franchise. True Blood‘s own Sookie Stackhouse, Anna Paquin, and Veronica Mars and Forgetting Sarah Marshall star Kristen Bell have both signed on for roles in Scream 4 (er, SCRE4M, but we hope if we ignore that it’ll go away). The two new additions join an already huge cast including returning stars Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox Arquette, and David Arquette, as well as newcomers Emma Roberts (Nancy Drew), Hayden Panettiere (Heroes), Marielle Jaffe (Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief), Rory Culkin (Signs), Nico Tortorella (Make it or Break It), Erik Knudsen (Scott Pilgrim vs. The World), Anthony Anderson (The Departed), Adam Brody (The O.C.), Marley Shelton (Grindhouse), Alison Brie (Mad Men), and Mary McDonnell (Battlestar Galactica).
