| Movie Review: So How Was ‘Warcraft’ To A Hardcore ‘World Of Warcraft’ Geek?
Warcraft
Director: Duncan Jones
Screenwriter: Charles Leavitt and Duncan Jones
Cast: Travis Fimmel, Paula Patton, Ben Foster, Dominic Cooper, Toby Kebbell, Ben Schnetzer, Robert Kazinsky, and Daniel Wu
Distributor: Universal Pictures
Rated PG-13 | 123 Minutes
Release Date: June 10th, 2016 Critics have been rather harsh to Warcraft so far, and as the lights dimmed and the movie started, I came into the theater thinking that I was only there to throw a little love on director Duncan Jones. Jones has had a rough year so far, and this whole movie is a big risk for not only him, but also for Blizzard Entertainment, who created the game that the movie draws inspiration from, World of Warcraft. So how was the movie, when watched by a hardcore WoW geek?

| Trailer For ‘Warcraft’ Movie Coming Friday; New Poster Revealed
This Friday, we will finally see some footage from the epic new movie Warcraft based on Blizzard Entertainment’s game series of the same name when the trailer drops. In the meantime, Universal and Legendary have released a new poster for the film. Check it out here below. While the movie itself won’t be out until June 2016, there is a lot of anticipation as a Warcraft game/movie crossover has been in the works for a very long time. Fans have been anxious for months now to see how ILM and director Duncan Jones will bring the rich fantasy world to life. This despite Universal Studios reportedly being nervous about the film after a mediocre response at SDCC 2015. With the trailer, we can finally see the Horde axes crushing down some Alliance shields (hopefully). Perhaps then the Universal won’t be as nervous.

| ‘World Of Warcraft’ Expansion ‘Legion’ Announced By Blizzard |
 |

Blizzard Entertainment this morning at Gamescom in Germany officially revealed the next chapter in the World of Warcraft series: World of Warcraft: Legion. The new expansion will expand the level cap once again, this time to 110. Also there will be a new playable class: Demon Hunter. With the announcement comes a new high res CGI sizzle reel featuring Gul’dan and a brief video explaining a few of the new features. The new class will be a “Hero” class in the vein of the Death Knight class from the games 3rd expansion: Wrath of the Lich King. They will have unique abilities like seeing through walls and a double jump. The sizzle reel shows Gul’dan awakening the most well-known demon hunter in Illidan Stormrage. New demon hunters will be called upon by Illidan to fulfill quests as part of their “awakening”. Death Knights started at level 55 after isolated questing, it would be safe to say we’ll see a similar experience in Legion with Demon Hunters. Continue below for more and to watch a feature overview of Legion and a cinematic teaser.
