george lucas's blockbustingStar Wars creator George Lucas made an appearance on last night’s episode of The Daily Show to discuss the new book George Lucas’s Blockbusting: A Decade-by-Decade Survey of Timeless Movies Including Untold Secrets of Their Financial and Cultural Success, which was released yesterday.

George Lucas’s Blockbusting, a nearly 1,000-page paperback, takes a look at 300 of the most critically and financially successful movies of all time (up until 2005) and delves into the business aspects, like revenues and costs, as well as technology and trends.

In his 7-minute segment on the show, Lucas did less talking about the book and more responding to Stewart’s jokingly fanboy queries about the Star Wars prequels. Check out the video of Lucas’s appearance here below.
