A brand new clip has been released for the new thriller, Insidious.

The movie is directed by James Wan and written by Leigh Whannell, who co-created Saw together, and produced by Jason Blum, Steven Schneider, and Oren Peli, the team behind the indie horror hit Paranormal Activity.

The movie follows a family whose son slips into a coma before strange, inexplicable things start to happen, forcing them into a fight to keep evil spirits from trapping the boy in their realm.

Insidious stars Patrick Wilson (Little Children, Watchmen) and Rose Byrne (Sunshine, Knowing), and Barbara Hershey (Beaches, Black Swan). Director Wan has also helmed Dead Silence, Death Sentence, and is attached to the Castlevania movie in development. Whannell’s previous scripts also include Saw II and Saw III.
