Released in 2002, Nemesis is the tenth film in the Star Trek franchise and the fourth and final one with the full cast of the Star Trek: The Next Generation television series, starring Patrick Stewart as Jean-Luc Picard. While its predecessor, Insurrection, wasn’t a big hit with fans, at least it wasn’t the box office failure that Nemesis was.
Synopsis: After the Enterprise is diverted to Romulus, supposedly to negotiate a truce, the Federation discovers the Romulans are planning an attack on Earth.
Aside from First Contact, which had the Borg in it, the other TNG films are not considered great, and for some reason, fans seem to really dislike Nemesis. Yes, it’s not the greatest movie ever, but is it horrible? I don’t think so. I went to see it when it came out and I truly enjoyed it. There’s a whole storyline about a young Picard clone named Shinzon, played by none other than everyone’s new favorite actor Inception‘s Tom Hardy, who turns out a good performance. Plus, there’s a major turn of events concerning the android Data. I think for $4, it’s worth it to get the movie, especially if you’ve been taking advantage of the previous $4 Star Trek digital download deals.
Visit the Video on Demand page to learn more about the service (you can stream the film right on your computer, or download it to you PC, and more).
That’s $3.99 too much.
Truly the worst Trek movie. At least ST:V had some goofiness and charm for all its flaws. This one? Bland and sour.

Insurrection was worse, but Nemesis killed the franchise (simultaneously ruining the theory that the even numbered Trek movies were the good ones).
