The $9 t-shirt deal of the day over at Teefury today mashes up the Tron franchise with The Big Lebowski in “Bowling” by artist spacemonkeydr.

The sale at Teefury began at midnight EST (Wednesday, December 8, 2010) and will continue for 24 hours from then, and once it’s over, it’s gone forever.

The t-shirt design takes the “The Dude” himself Jeff Lebowski (beer in hand), played by Jeff Bridges in the film, and Walter Sobchak (John Goodman’s character, here with bowling ball in hand) and turns their regular clothes into the Tron video game outfit. Hovering over them are three Tron Recognizer vehicles, each with an X on them, representing a strike in bowling (three consecutive strikes in bowling is known as a “turkey”).

Jeff Bridges starred in both The Big Lebowski and Tron, and returns to the big screen this Friday when Tron Legacy hits theaters.

The shirt is black and is available in Men’s (including 2X) and in Women’s sizes.

The artist has this to say about the design:

Well I’ve always been a huge Big Lebowski fan, and even a pretty big Jeff Bridges fan. One of my friends had suggested doing a Tron/Lebowski shirt with the new movie coming out, and as soon as I put the glowing suits on Walter and the Dude I couldn’t stop laughing…and thus a shirt was born!
