Just a few days ago, the announcement trailer for Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deceptionmade its debut at the Spike TV Video Game Awards. The trailer was mostly cinematic, but did offer some very brief gameplay teases toward the end.
Thankfully for we the fans, Naughty Dog, the game studio behind the immensely popular series that includes Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune and Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, isn’t waiting around patiently to show more of their new game off. Co-presidents Evan Wells and Christophe Balestra were guest on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon recently, and they brought with them some real, solid gameplay footage to let the host try out.
We’ll still have to wait a little longer to really see how the game will look overall due to the fact that this gameplay is set inside a burning building, but it’s an intense burning building sequence and promises that the game will keep up the brilliance of the previous two installments.

To be perfectly honest, with the recent news that the oncoming film adaptation completely ignored the glaringly obvious need to cast Nathan Fillion and decided instead to cast Mark Wahlberg, this game couldn’t be coming at a more perfect time. Fans will no doubt be much more excited to get their hands on this than their eyes on the movie.
