The Star Wars Saga is coming to Blu-ray this September 2011, LucasFilm announced today at the CES convention in Las Vegas.
Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment will release Star Wars in three distinct sets, including packing all six live-action films together for the first time.
Star Wars: The Complete Saga on Blu-ray will also include three additional discs and more than 30 hours of extensive special features including never-before-seen deleted and alternate scenes, an exploration of the exclusive Star Wars archives, and much more.
That title card at the end is full of fail. “The Complete Saga” in blue on a black starry background? Really? Almost as bad as Luke with a green light saber in Episode IV. Nifty trailer otherwise.

Please please please let them add the original unaltered films as “extra features” in the IV-VI box set.
