Didn’t think this would happen but as more glimpses of Thor and Captain America are coming out, I find myself more and more interested in Thor and less interested in Cap. I never liked the Thor comics but I think his movie is going to do better than Captain Americas will.

^ I’m the opposite. I am far more intrigued by Captain America than Thor and think Cap. will do be better critically and box-office-wise. $20 says I’m right. heh.
Personally I’m not really feeling Thor, it feels like it’ll be a movie more about style over substance. Well, since there’ll at least one shirtless Chris Hemsworth scene, I’ll be ok with style over substance. I’m sure the movie will do well regardless.

My uncertainty about Captain America stems from the Red Skull/Nazi storyline. Being integral to Caps origin, I suppose it was unavoidable (at least for the first movie) but it simply doesn’t interest me. Like Dr. Doom in the first Fantastic Four movie or Lex Luthor in Superman (and Superman Returns), megalomaniacal villians just don’t seem threatening to me. Of course I haven’t yet seen the movie so this is pure speculation on my part, but I fear that featuring Nazis in a comic book movie is simply going make them appear cartoonish and, in effect, non-threatening. I will admit that first glance of Hugo Weaving as Red Skull (from the Superbowl trailer) is a pretty good likeness! But that’s it. Captain America is probably a stronger tie in to next years Avengers movie but I think the Thor movie will be more entertaining on it’s own. Tough box office call here but I’d be willing to make the $20 small wager… =)
