The majority of us are aware that DC Comics characters Booster Gold and Jaime Reyes, The Blue Beetle, will be appearing on a Geoff Johns-scripted episode of the 10-year spanning Superman series Smallville, but what we didn’t know is how a show that swears by their “No tights” policy was going to feature the future timestream-riding Booster Gold and the Scarab-infected Blue Beetle.
And with a little help from TV Guide, we get to see exactly what they are going to look like. Check out the image above of the two superheroes.
In my opinion, as a fan of Booster Gold, Jaime Reyes’ Blue Beetle, and Smallville, I have to say, Booster looks awesome, while Blue Beetle looks like an insane blue robot demon. But we’ve seen this before with promo shots of Hawkman from the episode “Absolute Justice,” but it looked far better in the actual episode, so we won’t see exactly how it will look until the episode airs on April 22, so stay tuned to the website and Comics of Doom, and we’ll let you know exactly when that is.
