Ben Affleck Reveals Deathstroke, Reportedly The Villain For ‘The Batman’

Ben Affleck tweeted a short video today supposedly from the set of Justice League giving his followers a tantalizing glimpse of an iconic DC Comics character who, according to a source for Umberto Gonzalez’s original story at The Wrap, could be the main villain in the untitled standalone Batman movie Affleck will star in as well as co-write, produce, and direct. With last week’s Blue Moon, MK had to return to his natural home of Smurf Village to welcome the newest member of Smurf Village. Wrassly Smurf has a lot of smurfberries to harvest, and Papa Smurf does not care fore slackers, so it is up to Rummy Smurf to pass on some comic picks for this week. Batman and ‘Smallville’ Lead DC’s Charge Into Digital

DC Comics announced today that the comic book publishing company would be expanding its digital comics initiative with brand new weekly comics with Smallville Season 11, Batman, and a manga-inspired Ame Come line leading the charge.
Alright DC Comics, you’ve got my attention. This news story comes alongside a nice feature with writer Bryan Q. Miller on USA Today as he discusses preview pages and the previously announced Smallville Season 11 weekly digital comics series that follows the events of the popular TV show, which finally hits the digital platform today. Next month, Justin Gray and Jimmy Palmiotti will begin a new weekly digital comic based on Manga style that focuses on Wonder Woman and other female superheroes which takes the Ame Comi name from DC’s popular statue line. Where this gets really interesting to me, however, is with the announcement of the weekly Batman comics.

‘Smallville’ To Be Revived With Season 11 Digital Comic

DC Comics announced today that they will be going back to Smallville to bring fans of the show an eleventh season in digital comic book form this April.
Smallville: Season 11 will be a weekly digital comic penned by show writer, comic scribe, and personal favorite Bryan Q. Miller that goes deeper into Clark Kent’s first year as Superman while still using the mythos set up in the televised series. All of the characters that fans of the show know and love will still be major players in the series including Lois Lane, Oliver Queen (Green Arrow), Chloe Sullivan-Queen, General Lane, and many more.
