Red Wasp Design has been hard at work making all of your Cthulhuian dreams come true this holiday season. It began with the Cthulhu Christmas Calender app and now comes new information and goodies from Red Wasp’s Call of Cthulhu: The Wasted Land game.

The game is based on the many works of author H.P. Lovecraft, and now has both a release date and shiny new hi-def screenshots to take a peek at, which you can see below now.

Call of Cthulhu: The Wasted Land is a turn-based RPG set during World War I that was made with the blessing of Chaosium Inc., makers of longtime favorite role-playing game, Call of Cthulhu.

The game will be released on January 30, 2012 for iPhone and iPod, initially. After that, Red Wasp aims to offer the game on iPad, Android, PC, and even consoles.
