| Emily Blunt & Ruth Wilson Courted For Ms. Marvel In ‘The Avengers 2?’ |

If there is one thing we shouldn’t be hearing about now, it’s the casting of vital roles in The Avengers 2. For one thing, it still way too early for anything like that to happen. But the Daily Mail, a source notoriously for concocting unsubstantiated rumors, reports that Marvel is courting Emily Blunt (Looper, The Wolfman, The Adjustment Bureau) and Ruth Wilson (Alice Morgan on BBC TV’s Luther). for the coveted role of Ms. Marvel – a character that is unconfirmed for the sequel. It wouldn’t surprise me – or anyone else for that matter – that Joss Whedon would include a strong female character like Ms. Marvel in The Avengers 2, but until we get some hard evidence from let’s say, the people making The Avengers 2, we will just have to consider that this casting possibility is just a rumor.
