Because what’s better than finding out that an unbearably dull film is being adapted for the small screen?
All joking aside, Deadline is reporting that the barely seen thriller, Legion, which starred Paul Bettany, is coming to the small screen thanks to SyFy, who is currently in the midst of developing the film for series with director Scott Stewart aboard as director and producer.
The story follows a group of people who team with Archangel Michael to fend off a team of angels sent by God to bring the apocalypse, and honestly, despite the horrible translation to the big screen, this story could fit rather well on the small one. The potential for a fine bit of thriller TV is in place here, but given the Syfy name attached to it, one can only imagine that the show will be both cheaply crafted, and poorly acted. That all said, their mini-series Alice was fantastic, so here’s to hoping that I’m wrong.
What do you think?
