Soundgarden has released a preview of their new single “Live to Rise” from the upcoming The Avengers movie.
Take a listen to 22 seconds of the new song here below.
The song, which is the band’s first new tune in 15 years, will be part of Avengers Assemble, the soundtrack album of music from and inspired by the film, The Avengers. The 14-track album, which also includes songs by Bush, Evanescence, Five Finger Death Punch, Scott Weiland, and BuckCherry, will be released on May 1, 2012.
It’s a pity that Bad City’s Fight As One wasn’t included on the soundtrack. Â That was the theme from the recent animation series of The Avengers, and it’s a cracking song. Â
