With a jetpack fueled by insomnia and an easily amused mind, It Came From The Interwebs scours and sifts through everything that has ever appeared on the internet (more or less) to find a few things that you should know about every week. These things come from the interwebs, hence the clever name.
This week, we return from a few days of getting lost in Tom Hiddleston’s eyes to bring you the vampire unicorn cyborg of web junk columns, featuring: the hip hop stylings of Jon Hamm, the meteorological rise of a prince, the gravitational fall of dominoes, and an Icelandic invasion.
1. Hamm Rap
When Jon Hamm isn’t buckling knees, laying the verbal thwack on reality stars, acting, or cultivating the majestic forest that rests on his chest, he’s doing other things like a bomb-ass spectacle of majesty and disco. Translation: Jon Hamm aint no sucka MC. Check out his hybrid rap/Judd Hirsch impression (third of its kind) with Reggie Watts on the upcoming IFC show Comedy Bang! Bang!.
2. Charles in Charge… of the Weather
Yes, that’s Prince Charles… doing the weather.
3. Star Wars Invasion
Apparently, Iceland is under attack from the Empire… or someone with photoshop. If you care, click here to take a look at the rest of these Star Wars-themed invasion pics and for God sakes, send some Jedi!
4. Nintendo Dominoes
30,000 dominoes set-up to represent old school Nintendo, Mario, Sonic, and others. Watch. Them. Fall.
5. The Greatest ‘Blossom’ Lip Sync of All Time
Out of toilet paper, our tatted hero pseudo belts out the Blossom theme, as well as Perfect Strangers, Full House, and others.
6. The Art of Movement — Stallone sorta has a Fiesta
7. Lost
On a serious note, we have video of Lost actor Matthew Fox’s DUI arrest. Chilling stuff.
In all true seriousness, don’t drink and drive, or act in shows with a thoroughly disappointing conclusion. See ya next week, unless I get fired.
