This week’s promotional materials had a common underlying theme to it – they all centered on creatures of the night. There were character posters and banners for The Dark Knight Rises and the red-band trailer for Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, but now it’s time for everyone’s favorite swooning vampire to swoop in and take a stab – or a bite – of the promotional fun. The first set of character posters for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 have been released. You can take a look at the new character posters below.

As a part of a scavenger hunt that was held last week, Twilight fans scoured the Internet looking for clues that would lead to the big reveal and once they had all the clues in their hands, it revealed three character posters, one each for Jacob, Bella, and Edward (played by Taylor Lautner, Kristen Stewart, and Robert Pattinson respectively). Each of the posters has the same profile look and “Forever” tagline.

The scavenger hunt will continue on Twilight fan sites in the coming weeks, which will lead to the reveal of more character posters for the film.

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 hits theaters on November 16, 2012.
