Chuck and Tangled star Zachary Levi is heading towards another big name movie, and he continues to be as dashing as ever. Levi is in talks to replace Josh Dallas as Fandral in Thor 2. Dallas is unable to reprise the role of the dashing character, as he has a commitment to the ABC show Once Upon A Time.

Ironically Levi was offered the role before Dallas was, but Chuck was picked up for one final season and he had to stay. According to The Hollywood Reporter, talks are in the early stages, but Levi will most likely accept the role.

Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Tom Hiddleston, Anthony Hopkins, and Idris Elba will all reprise their respective roles, while Mads Mikkelsen climbs aboard as the villain. According to the trade, filming is expected to begin in July.

While not much is known about the story or how Mikkelsen’s presence as the villain will play into Thor 2, we do know that the film will focus on another side of Asgard and that other worlds will be explored.

To be honest, I thought that Dallas’s role in the film was rather weak, so the trade off isn’t a bad one. But if the Warriors Three have a larger role in the film and if they’ll travel with Thor to these new worlds, we will have to see.
