The films coming out in November and December almost feel like it’s summer all over again, and that’s a good thing. Wreck-It Ralph, Skyfall, Flight, The ABCs of Death, Twilight, Life Of Pi, The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, Zero Dark Thirty, and Les Miserables are all coming out within the next two months. Some of those are guaranteed to be blockbuster hits, while others are gunning for some awards.
But the one film that could possibly do both is Quentin Tarantino‘s Django Unchained. A new trailer has appeared online, and while we already know the gist of the film, it’s still nice to see some new footage.
Check out the trailer here below.
The newest trailer rehashes some of the earlier clips we have already seen and mixes it up with some additional new footage. This is the first time that we see Dr. King Schultz (Christoph Waltz) express some sort of honor and justice. We also get to see Dr. King teach Django (Jamie Foxx) the ways of bounty hunting. Other than that, there isn’t really anything new to explore except the different camera angles and Calvin Candie (Leonardo DiCaprio) unleashing sadistic violence on Kerry Washington‘s character. Oh yeah, Tarantino’s go-to-guy Samuel L. Jackson also stars.
Django Unchained rides into theaters on December 25th of this year.
Here’s the synopsis:
Set in the South two years before the Civil War, DJANGO UNCHAINED stars Academy Award(R)-winner Jamie Foxx as Django, a slave whose brutal history with his former owners lands him face-to-face with German-born bounty hunter Dr. King Schultz (Academy Award(R)-winner Christoph Waltz). Schultz is on the trail of the murderous Brittle brothers, and only Django can lead him to his bounty. The unorthodox Schultz acquires Django with a promise to free him upon the capture of the Brittles–dead or alive.
