HBO has ordered a pilot for another possible comedy series titled Silicon Valley. The live-action show comes from Mike Judge, who’s best know as the creator of Beavis and Butt-Head and co-creator of King of the Hill, along with fellow King of the Hill executive producers John Altschuler and Dave Krinsky.
The show is set in Silicon Valley, and follows the people that are “most qualified to succeed,” but are also the “least capable of handling success.”
The plan is to film the pilot come this spring, after which HBO will decide if they want to go to full series with it. Along with Judge, Altschuler, and Krinsky, Scott Rudin and Tom Lassally will also executive produce.
In addition to his animated series, Judge does have plenty of live-action experience. He wrote and directed the cult classic comedy Office Space, as well as Idiocracy, and Extract.

I would love to see a pilot episode called “Boomhauer, Texas Ranger.”
