Amanda Seyfried has entered into negotiations to join Family Guy and American Dad! creator Seth MacFarlane‘s next live-action movie project, titled A Million Ways to Die in the West.

The actress would join Charlize Theron and MacFarlane (making his first appearance as a lead actor) on the western comedy.

The movie follows a farmer (MacFarlane) who backs down from a gunfight, leading to his girlfriend (Seyfried) leaving him. In order to win her back, he’ll have to learn how to shoot from a notorious outlaw’s wife (Theron).

A Million Ways to Die in the West follows MacFarlane’s live-action feature directorial debut, Ted, in which he also voiced the foul-mouthed animated teddy bear title character.
