| The 10 Best Films I Saw In 2014
I was initially apprehensive about creating a “best of” movie list for 2014, because upon review, it was easier to make a list of all the critically acclaimed movies I didn’t get a chance to see than did. In fact, here’s that list now: Boyhood, The Grand Budapest Hotel, Only Lovers Left Alive, Birdman or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance), Whiplash, Selma, Ida, Goodbye to Language, The Babadook, and Inherent Vice. So with the caveat that the best films of the year (and possibly your favorites) may still yet to be seen by me, here is a list of the best films I did see this past year.

After Albert backs out of a gunfight, his fickle girlfriend Louise (Amanda Seyfried) leaves him for another man (Neil Patrick Harris). When the mysterious and beautiful Anna (Charlize Theron) rides into town, she helps Albert find his courage and they – of course – fall deeply in love amidst all the dick jokes. But when her husband, a notorious outlaw named Clinch (Liam Neeson), arrives seeking retribution, the farmer must put his newfound gunfighting skills to the test.

| Seth MacFarlane’s ‘A Million Ways To Die In The West’ TrailerSeth MacFarlane‘s Ted was basically a raunchy live-action version of Family Guy, and his sophomore directorial effort, A Million Ways to Die In The West, is more or less the same thing but set in the Wild West — not that there’s anything wrong with that since Ted proved to be a bonafide hit at the box office. Recently we saw the first official image from Seth MacFarlane‘s upcoming live-action comedy A Million Ways to Die in the West, and it’s safe to assume that a trailer for the May 30th release should be arriving very soon.
