Those three disgruntled employees who were unhappy with the working relationship they had with their bosses are set to return one more time. Jason Sudeikis, Charlie Day, and Jason Bateman are reportedly coming back to reprise their roles for Horrible Bosses 2. THR was the first to report on the news, and add that Kevin Spacey, Jennifer Aniston, and Jamie Foxx could return for cameos. Director Seth Gordon is also set to return as director.
If you haven’t seen the first Horrible Bosses film, it’s best that you not read ahead as spoilers will follow. Just know that almost everybody will return. But if you have seen it, read on.
Plot details are slim right now, but the film’s original screenwriters, John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein, will be back for the sequel as well.
As to what we could see in the sequel, here’s where the spoilers fall into the post. Collin Farrell‘s character, Bobby Pellit, is murdered by Spacey’s character, who is then sent to prison, and Aniston’s character stops her sexual harassment. So there may be a way for those two to come back to torment their employees. That’s where Foxx’s character, Motherfucker Jones, comes into play: he may provide new ways to kill their bosses. Bateman’s character finally receives the promotion he so rightfully deserves, only to realize that his new boss is equally as horrible as his last.
So what do you think?
