| Ezra Miller To Submit ‘Flash’ Script Co-Written With Grant Morrison After Creative Dispute With Directors
Just when things were looking good for Warner Bros. DCEU after the release of Wonder Woman and Aquaman, The Flash brings back memories of how the shared universe continues to struggle. In the latest bit of news, Ezra Miller reportedly seems to be very unhappy with the direction that the speedster is heading towards in the standalone film and is now working with DC comics writer Grant Morrison on a brand new script that will compete against the one being written by directors John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein. | DC Standalone Film ‘The Flash’ Hits Release Date Speed Bump; Pushed Back To 2021
At some point in time the DC Extended Universe looked like the alternative choice to everything Marvel Studios. However, the Warner Bros. superhero universe is having a bit of trouble getting off the ground. It even has trouble trying to catch up to Marvel. Case in point, The Flash, which has been hit with production delays, release date push backs, and directors coming and going. | Ben Affleck Turned Down The Chance To Direct ‘Flashpoint’
Ben Affleck‘s disinterest in directing The Batman has been well-documented since he was courted to direct the standalone film. And while we are left to figure out what his future is in the DCEU, there are reports that he was also courted to direct another DCEU film. And guess what? He turned down that film as well. | Trailer For Action-Comedy ‘Game Night’ Starring Rachel McAdams, Jason Bateman Released
Warner Brothers Pictures has released a teaser trailer for New Line Cinema’s Game Night, an action-comedy starring Rachel McAdams, Jason Bateman, Billy Magnussen, Sharon Horgan, Lamorne Morris, Kylie Bunbury, Jesse Plemons, Danny Huston, Michael C. Hall, and Kyle Chandler. The movie follows a group of couples getting together for their weekly game night, which this night has a murder mystery theme that turns out to be a little more intense than they’re prepared for. It’s directed by John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein, who were writers on Horrible Bosses, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2, and Spider-Man: Homecoming.
