Game Night Trailer

Warner Brothers Pictures has released a teaser trailer for New Line Cinema’s Game Night, an action-comedy starring Rachel McAdams, Jason Bateman, Billy Magnussen, Sharon Horgan, Lamorne Morris, Kylie Bunbury, Jesse Plemons, Danny Huston, Michael C. Hall, and Kyle Chandler.

The movie follows a group of couples getting together for their weekly game night, which this night has a murder mystery theme that turns out to be a little more intense than they’re prepared for. It’s directed by John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein, who were writers on Horrible Bosses, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2, and Spider-Man: Homecoming. They made their feature directorial debut with Vacation. Mark Perez (Accepted) wrote the screenplay.

Back in November, I got to see Marvel’s Doctor Strange at a special advanced Dolby Cinema screening. I have to say, that was an incredible way to see a film like this. But as I left the theater blown away by both the film and the theatrical experience, I was like, “I can’t wait to watch this again in Blu-ray.” Then I sent an email to the other GoD writers saying, “No one dare even think of requesting Doctor Strange, that one is mine!”

So, basically, after one viewing I loved the movie and already knew I’d be excited to watch it on Blu-ray in the comfort of my own home, and to also check out the bonus features. And here we are, several months later with me now in possession of a “Cinematic Universe Edition” Blu-ray review copy, complete with lenticular cover insert, after having left no one else on staff standing. (Yes, I’m a brutal conquerer and dictator!) Right away, I was like, there’d better be feature-length audio commentary on this thing! And, yes, director Scott Derrickson did provide this for the Blu-ray Edition, so he’s safe.

Marvel Doctor Strange

Doctor Strange is the 14th film of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Based on the 1963 comic book character of the same name that debuted in Strange Tales, the film follows Stephen Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) as he goes from brilliant but egotistic neurosurgeon to a man with nothing but a pair of crushed hands suffered in a car accident. Strange uses his last bit of money and travels to find The Ancient One (Tilda Swinton) who resides in Kamar-Taj. It is there where he learns what it takes to become the Sorcerer Supreme.

We were fortunate enough to sit down recently with a group of our fellow journalists to talk to the cast, director Scott Derrickson, and Marvel Studios’ president Kevin Feige about the film, how they made hand choreography look like magic, their geek-out moments, and what it was like to work with each other. Check out the top 10 things they said at the press conference here below.
