Today marks the release of Doctor Strange on Blu-ray Combo Pack, 3D Blu-ray Combo Pack, DVD, and Digital HD, and aside from the DVD Edition, all the others come packed with Bonus Features. Now that this 14th film in the highly successful Marvel Cinematic Universe is out, fans will likely be anxiously awaiting a chance to view the bonus features. With each film being a different genre, they all have their own special behind-the-scenes featurettes, even though they are a part of the same shared universe. In addition to the behind-the-scenes features, there are also gag reels, deleted scenes, and a sneak peek of Avengers: Infinity War. Check out the collection of videos here below for a preview of what’s included in the Doctor Strange home video release.
You can also check out our full review of the Blu-ray Edition, as well as my original review of the film’s theatrical release.
Although I wasn’t a huge fan of Doctor Strange, I recognize director Scott Derrickson‘s effort in putting together a film about the Sorcerer Supreme. With great action sequences and stunning visuals, Doctor Strange turned out to be one of the biggest hits of 2016, raking in over $675 million worldwide. With that kind of success, sequels and character appearances (by title star Benedict Cumberbatch) in other standalone films and Avengers ensembles are inevitable. We’ll first see him team-up with Thor in Thor: Ragnarok and then helping the Avengers in Avengers: Infinity War.
