‘Gemini Man’ Featurette: VFX Technology Will Create A Digital Will Smith Replica

The first teaser trailer for Ang Lee‘s Gemini Man set up the basic plot of a man who is confronted by an assassin who looks just like him but 27 years younger. The film will star Will Smith as both the elder assassin and the young operative. Though we have seen de-aging technology being used before, it has garnered mixed results. Most of the time it looks just like CG plastic mask. But it looks like Lee and producer Jerry Bruckheimer are going to great lengths to make sure that isn’t the case here and that it will be a “phenomenal experience for the audience.”
Now Paramount Pictures has released a new featurette that shows that Gemini Man will not have “de-aging” or “face replacement.” Check out the video below.

Live-Action ‘Lady and The Tramp’ To Use Real Live Dogs

Now that we’ve seen what Disney can do to make lifelike CG animals in the live-action adaptations of their animated films, the studio is taking a rather unconventional step to making their formerly hand-drawn animated animal characters look alive. They will be using real lives ones.
There has been confirmation that director Charlie Bean (The LEGO Ninjago Movie) will be using real, live dogs for the live-action reimagining of Lady and the Tramp. More on the report below.

‘Avengers: Infinity War’ Ending Is Real; ‘Avengers 4’ Will Have Surprises

A lot of us are still reeling after the ending of Avengers: Infinity War. With a massive superhero ensemble like this, we knew there would be some casualties, but I don’t think any of us were prepared for what Marvel gave us. Obviously, the upcoming sequel will have some of the heroes who didn’t appear in Infinity War make an appearance in Avengers 4, even a certain hero who could only be reached via retro technology. So as many of us are still coping, screenwriters Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely are talking about how Avengers 4 will not reverse what was done in Infinity War. That ending was real and permanent, they say. But we can expect to see some surprises in Avengers 4. Check out what the two had to say here below.
Warning: major spoilers ahead, so if you haven’t seen the film, I suggest you do not continue reading on any further.
