| Google Celebrates ‘Hitchhiker’s Guide’ Author Douglas Adams With Interactive Doodle
Today marks the birthday of author Douglas Adams, best known for his humorous science fiction books, most notably The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy. In honor of the late author, who would have been 61, Google has posted an interactive Doodle on their home page today, March 11, 2012. The interactive Doodle incorporates items from The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, including the famed guide itself, and if you click through in the right places, you’ll get the whole story! | Christopher Nolan’s Sci-Fi Epic ‘Interstellar’ Gets A Release Date
Christopher Nolan. Outer space. “A heroic interstellar voyage to the furthest reaches of our scientific understanding.” And it’s all going to be in IMAX. Start getting excited. Now that he has wrapped up his trilogy of blockbuster Batman adventures, Nolan is setting his sights a little higher than the monolithic skyscrapers of Gotham City for his next directorial effort, the epic science-fiction adventure Interstellar. The sure-to-be-extremely-costly film is months still from going into production, but it has already locked down a release date and has two studios footing the bills.
