The Gold Box spotlight deal of the day over at Amazon today is the Indiana Jones: The Complete Adventures for $38.99 (that’s 61 % off the list price of $99.99).

This blu-ray box set contains all four movies starring Harrison Ford as the title adventurer Indiana Jones, along with seven hours of special features like documentaries, interviews, featurettes, and all-new bonus features.

Recently, images of Autobot disguises, a Bugatti Grand Sport Vitesse and a Chevrolet C7 Corvette Stingray, were teased. But as to what Autobot would take the respective forms remains to be seen, although Sideswipe did disguise himself as the Stingray in both Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen and Transformers: Dark Of the Moon, whether or not that will carry over into Transformers 4 remains to be seen. So whilst the two vehicles go without robotic forms, two new images of familiar Autobots have been released.

Optimus Prime is getting a whole new body for Transformers 4, but is pretty much keeping the same color scheme that he has had from the last three Transformers films. However it’s Bumblebee who is getting a body by getting an old school makeover. Unfortunately it won’t be old school like VW Bug. As the school year comes to a close, and joyous kids everywhere begin preparing for what’s sure to be the most epicest summer of all times for real real, Pixar has released a “Final Exam” trailer for the upcoming Monsters, Inc. prequel, Monsters University.

All of the trailers have made the movie look like a lot of fun, but this is probably my personal favorite of the bunch. Instead of focusing on the rivalry between a young James P. Sullivan (John Goodman) and Mike Wazowski (Billy Crystal), instead it focuses more on Mike and his lifelong determination to beat the odds and become a scarer.

Every once in a while, something becomes so popular that it’s only a matter of time before someone decides to try and make it into a movie…even if it’s not something that has any business becoming a movie.

Some of these things, for example, would be popular TV commercial characters like the Geico cavemen or the E*Trade baby. Neither has actually become a movie yet, but you get the idea.

And now we get into the world of internet memes. Countless memes have come and gone—many of which consisting of one constant image being recycled with new text—and one of the most popular of them all is Grumpy Cat.

Summer is here. The time has arrived for film buffs to catch up on films they may have overlooked in recent months. Put Frankenweenie on that list, an overlooked Tim Burton feature with funkiness and flaws a plenty. Let’s dig up my review of Frankenweenie on Blu-ray in this edition of Disney In Depth.

The dog, man’s best friend. They possess the ceaseless loyalty, friendship and empathy that most humans only wish they could have. No wonder why the loss of a dog can bring about such sadness. Burton infuses immense passion and consideration into this pet project of his, finally adapted into this full-length, entirely stop-motion feature.
