Last we heard, Jurassic Park IV was being pushed back from a planned 2014 release to sometime in 2015, and producer Steven Spielbergwas helping up-and-coming director Colin Trevorrow (Safety Not Guaranteed) with his first experience with a huge franchise blockbuster.
Now Universal has announced an official title (complete with the logo above) as well as a new official release date for the movie, which Trevorrow is also co-writing along with Derek Connolly.
Universal has revealed that the fourth installment in the dinosaurs gone wild series will be titled Jurassic World, and that it will be released in theaters on June 12th of the already insane 2015 summer movie season.
Apart from the title and release date, no information is known about the movie and where it will take fans of the franchise.
