– Three of the actors playing the dwarves also played the three Stone Trolls via motion-capture performance and there were times when their respective characters even fought each other during the Trollshaws Forest sequence: William Kircher was Bifur and Tom Troll; Peter Hambleton was Gloin and William Troll; and Mark Hadlow was Dori and Bert Troll.
