More actors are boarding Warcraft, the movie adaptation of the hit MMO game World of Warcraft being helmed by Moon and Source Code director Duncan Jones.
It’s being reported that Ben Foster, Toby Kebbell, and Rob Kazinsky have all joined the cast, and that Dominic Cooper is working on a deal to sign on. The actors join a cast that already includes Paula Patton and Travis Fimmel.
Foster is known for multiple notable roles, including in Alpha Dog, Six Feet Under, 3:10 to Yuma, The Messenger, and X-Men: The Last Stand, where he played Angel, while Cooper has been seen in movies like An Education, The Devil’s Double, My Week With Marilyn, Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, and in the Captain America movies, where he plays Tony Stark’s father, Howard.
Kebbell is known from titles such as RocknRolla, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, The Sorceror’s Apprentice, and Wrath of the Titans, and Kazinsky has had roles in Red Tails Pacific Rim, and True Blood.
Patton has appeared in Deja Vu, Precious, Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol, and 2 Guns, with Fimmel best known as the star of History Channel’s Vikings.
Who any of the actors will be playing is not yet known, as little to no details have been released about what storyline the movie will follow.
Production on Warcraft is currently planned for sometime in early 2014, with a December 18, 2015 release date currently marked.
