Sony Pictures Entertainment released an official trailer for Bloodshot this week. The movie stars Vin Diesel, and is based on the Valiant comic book of the same name.
In the movie Diesel plays a soldier who was killed and brought back to life as a super soldier capable of healing instantly thanks to nanotechnology in his veins. You can find a brief synopsis for Bloodshot and check out the official trailer along with an international trailer below.
SYNOPSIS:
Based on the bestselling comic book, Vin Diesel stars as Ray Garrison, a soldier recently killed in action and brought back to life as the superhero Bloodshot by the RST corporation. With an army of nanotechnology in his veins, he’s an unstoppable force –stronger than ever and able to heal instantly. But in controlling his body, the company has sway over his mind and memories, too. Now, Ray doesn’t know what’s real and what’s not – but he’s on a mission to find out.
Starring alongside Diesel is Eiza Gonzalez, Sam Heughan, Toby Kebbell, and Guy Pearce.
The movie is written by Oscar nominee Eric Heisserer (Arrival, Bird Box) and Jeff Wadlow (Kick-Ass 2, Truth or Dare), with Dave Wilson directing.
Wilson previously directed an episode of Love, Death & Robots and a number of impressive video game cinematic trailers, including for Mass Effect 2, BioShock Infinite, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II, The Elder Scrolls Online, and The Division. He also worked as the visual effects Creative Supervisor on Avengers: Age of Ultron.
The movie is produced by Neal H. Moritz, Toby Jaffe, Dinesh Shamdasani, and Diesel, with Dan Mintz, Louis G. Friedman, YU Dong, Jeffrey Chan, Rita LeBlanc, Buddy Patrick, and Matthew Vaughn executive producing.
Bloodshot is set to be released in theaters on February 21, 2020.
