‘Bloodshot’: Official Trailer Released For Comic Book Movie Starring Vin Diesel

Sony Pictures Entertainment released an official trailer for Bloodshot this week. The movie stars Vin Diesel, and is based on the Valiant comic book of the same name.
In the movie Diesel plays a soldier who was killed and brought back to life as a super soldier capable of healing instantly thanks to nanotechnology in his veins. You can find a brief synopsis for Bloodshot and check out the official trailer along with an international trailer below.

‘Fast and Furious’ Producer Neal Moritz Files Lawsuit Over ‘Hobbs and Shaw’

The Fast and Furious franchise may have its longevity but it’s not without its share of problems. The film has had behind the scenes issues with its cast ranging from a feud between Vin Diesel and Dwayne Johnson to a feud between Johnson and Tyrese. There is even a concern about how the female members of the cast don’t have enough of a role in the films.
However, the latest troubles don’t involve any of the actors. It involves a lawsuit about Hobbs and Shaw, the first Fast and Furious spinoff, and is between Fast and Furious producer Neal Moritz and Universal. According to the latest report, Moritz claims that Universal has breached an oral agreement they had made. More on the report below.

‘Baywatch,’ ‘Genie’ Writers Hired For ‘Starship Troopers’ Reboot

Back in 2011 it was reported that a reboot of Starship Troopers was in the works from Sony Pictures and producer Neal H. Moritz, with Thor and X-Men: First Class writers Ashley Miller and Zack Stentz attached.
That attempt at the reboot didn’t work out, but the project is not dead yet. It’s being reported that Moritz now has the movie set up at the Sony-owned Columbia Pictures with a pair of new writers, Damian Shannon and Mark Swift, now set to pen the script.

Sarah Michelle Gellar Confirmed For Upcoming ‘Cruel Intentions’ Series

In 1999, beautifully wicked, manipulator Kathryn Merteuil (Sarah Michelle Gellar) and her playboy (and sometimes boy toy) stepbrother Sebastian Valmont (Ryan Phillipe) played with the lives of the people around them. When Sebastian actually fell for one of their targets, the sweet Annette Hargrove (Reese Witherspoon), tragedy struck and Sebastian was killed. Kathryn was exposed for the evil bitch she was. Now, the continuation will be a series, and NBC and Gellar have confirmed the casting.

Sony Pictures Sets Writer For ’23 Jump Street’

Sony Pictures is moving forward with 23 Jump Street, a sequel to 21 Jump Street and the recent 22 Jump Street, both of which starred Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum.
Sony has locked up Rodney Rothman to pen the trilogy-maker, which is expected to see Hill and Tatum return. Rothman worked on the 22 Jump Street script, and was recently reported to be involved in a planned Greatest American Hero reboot.
