| Paramount To Bring A ‘Face/Off’ Remake From ‘Sonic The Hedgehog’ Writer
John Woo’s 1997 hit Face/Off was a stylized action blockbuster with an absurd premise that was perfectly paired with performances from John Travolta and Nicolas Cage. An FBI agent (Travolta) surgically traded faces with a psychotic killer (Cage) so that he could discover the location of a bomb that could cause massive devastation. The film was a commercial success, and since studios are high on getting remakes and reboots into theaters, it should come as no surprise that there are reports that Paramount is now developing a remake. | ‘Fast and Furious’ Producer Neal Moritz Files Lawsuit Over ‘Hobbs and Shaw’
The Fast and Furious franchise may have its longevity but it’s not without its share of problems. The film has had behind the scenes issues with its cast ranging from a feud between Vin Diesel and Dwayne Johnson to a feud between Johnson and Tyrese. There is even a concern about how the female members of the cast don’t have enough of a role in the films. However, the latest troubles don’t involve any of the actors. It involves a lawsuit about Hobbs and Shaw, the first Fast and Furious spinoff, and is between Fast and Furious producer Neal Moritz and Universal. According to the latest report, Moritz claims that Universal has breached an oral agreement they had made. More on the report below.

It’s been almost a year since the news first broke about a Prison Break season 5, and then a trailer hit the net in May. Now, the waiting is almost over (kind of). The premiere date for the return of brothers Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller) and Lincoln Burrows (Dominic Purcell) has been announced, and a new trailer has also been released. | ‘Baywatch,’ ‘Genie’ Writers Hired For ‘Starship Troopers’ Reboot
Back in 2011 it was reported that a reboot of Starship Troopers was in the works from Sony Pictures and producer Neal H. Moritz, with Thor and X-Men: First Class writers Ashley Miller and Zack Stentz attached. That attempt at the reboot didn’t work out, but the project is not dead yet. It’s being reported that Moritz now has the movie set up at the Sony-owned Columbia Pictures with a pair of new writers, Damian Shannon and Mark Swift, now set to pen the script.
