| ‘Maleficent: Mistress Of Evil’ Trailer: Angelina Jolie Returns To Celebrate The Season Of The Witch
Disney has released the first teaser trailer for Maleficent: Mistress of Evil, the sequel to the hugely successful Maleficent. Angelina Jolie returns to play the titular scorned winged sorceress who cursed Princess Aurora to be put under eternal sleep that can only be dispelled by a kiss. But unlike the traditional live-action adaptations, the film took a much different approach by having the film take place from Maleficent’s perspective and exploring why she was bitter towards the kingdom and the young princess. Now she’s back, along with Elle Fanning, who reprises her role as Princess Aurora. Joining them will be Michelle Pfeiffer as a new character created for this film. Check out the new trailer and six new images from the film below.

| ‘Alice Through The Looking Glass’ Teaser: “Time To Fall Back”
This accursed Daylights Savings Time is still something I can’t quite comprehend. Nevertheless, Disney has taken this biannual event to help promote Alice Through The Looking Glass, which is quite fitting since the White Rabbit makes it a point to always be on time, and who knows how his day would go if he didn’t set his clock an hour back. So now Disney has released the teaser for the Alice Through The Looking Glass trailer. Check it out here below.

| ‘Maleficent 2’ Officially Being DevelopedHonestly, this took a lot longer than expected, but it’s better late than never. Maleficent, starring Angelina Jolie as the titular character, was one of last summer’s biggest blockbusters. It wasn’t the first Disney live-action adaptation of an animated classic the studio has released, but its huge success has helped launch a slate of live-action adaptations of animated movies that includes this year’s Cinderella, next year’s The Jungle Book, and upcoming films like Beauty and The Beast, Pete’s Dragon, Mulan, Dumbo, Winnie The Pooh, and much more. Of course the $758 million worldwide box office gross was more than enough reason for Disney to put a Maleficent 2 into development, but not much has changed since the film’s release. Now we are getting word that Disney is in fact developing a sequel, but some of the key members of the creative team might not be returning. More on the story below.

| Frank Darabont In Talks For ‘Snow White and The Huntsman 2’
Recently we found out that Frank Darabont was on the shortlist of potential directors for Snow White and the Huntsman 2, the follow-up to 2012’s re-imagining of the fairy tale that starred Kristen Stewart, Chris Hemsworth, and Charlize Theron, and was directed by Rupert Sanders. The news that Darabont was a candidate seemed odd. Why would the director of The Shawshank Redemption and The Green Mile, and the TV series creator of AMC’s The Walking Dead, be interested in making not only a sequel to a movie he wasn’t involved in, but a sequel to a movie that also received mediocre critical response (48% on Rotten Tomatoes, 6.2/10 on IMDB)? But it appears that the interest is real and something about the project has appealed to Darabont, as it is now being reported that he’s officially in talks to direct Snow White and the Huntsman 2.
