Nothing is official yet, but it’s being reported that Jason Momoa, star of HBO’s Game of Thrones and the Conan the Barbarian remake, is in talks to join the Man of Steel sequel, which is currently known only as Batman vs. Superman.

Who the actor is in talks to play is not yet known, but if Momoa were to sign on, he’d join returning stars like Henry Cavill and Amy Adams as Superman and Lois Lane, Ben Affleck taking over the role of Batman from Christian Bale, and newcomer Gal Godot, who was recently announced as the brand new Wonder Woman.

So while we wait to find out who Momoa could be playing, it seems a perfect opportunity for a little geek discussion.

Speculation has already begun on the actor might be the best fit for, with some believing he could play the likes of Doomsday, Martian Manhunter, Bizarro, or maybe someone less obvious (but more fitting given Momoa’s look) like fellow DC Comics character Lobo, who has also had a movie in the works for some time now.
