We still have a little over a month before the first season of The Witcher arrives on Netflix, but apparently the streaming giant is excited about the project.
It was announced today that Netflix has already ordered a season two of the series, which is an adaptation of Polish author Andrzej Sapkowski‘s book series of the same name we’ve previously seen adapted into the hit video game trilogy developed by CD Projekt RED.
One interesting thing about the trailers and images we’ve seen from Netflix’s The Witcher, is that the White Wolf, Geralt of Rivia (Henry Cavill), carries only one sword. Witchers are known for carrying two swords—one made of steel for human enemies, one made of silver for monsters—so the missing blade was somewhat of a concern.
But as you can see in the image above, which was released to announce the season two order, all is well and they didn’t forget about that other sword.
