World War Z director Marc Forster will not be returning for the planned sequel, but Paramount Pictures has found someone to replace him.

It’s being reported that Juan Antonio Bayona, director of the Guillermo del Toro-produced Spanish horror flick The Orphanage and the tsunami drama The Impossible, has been brought in to replace Forster on the sequel.

Bayona met with Brad Pitt—who is expected to return as both star and a producer through his Plan B banner—before officially getting the job, though no writers or release date have been announced yet, and no details on what storyline the sequel will follow are known.

The original was based on the book of the same name by Max Brooks, and followed a U.N. employee (Pitt) who found himself in the middle of the fight to stop a zombie plague outbreak. It faced many problems on its way to the big screen, but ended up scoring a surprisingly impressive $540 million worldwide.
