It’s always nice to receive news straight from Wizards of the Coast and this is one that sort of ties in with the 40 anniversary of Dungeons & Dragons. It’s all about Tiamat and the new storyline Tyranny of Dragons.
If you aren’t familiar with Tiamat, she’s a five-headed dragon that pretty much scares the Nine Hells out of everyone. The original Monster Manual refers to her as a “Chromatic Dragon” and lists her having more power than any creature should have — five different breath weapons and magic, to boot! This new storyline pits adventurers up against this queen of evil dragons, but do they have any chance of survival? Only time will tell.
Check out the details here below from Wizards of the Coast, along with images of Tiamat and the Temple of Tiamat.
