EPIX is having a Star Trek Fest this weekend, which will include the world television premiere of Star Trek Into Darkness, as well as select Star Trek films, documentaries, and commentaries.
Star Trek Fest on the EPIX television channel begins on Sunday, February 16, 2014 at 6AM EST with The Captains Close-Up: William Shatner: An EPIX Original Documentary, and continues for 24 hours with the first five Star Trek films (some of which will have encore presentations), the aforementioned Star Trek Into Darkness, and more Close-Up features and other EPIX original Star Trek content, like A Conversation With Leonard Nimoy. Throughout the marathon, there will be special segments with Star Trek actor George Takei.
