More castings have been made for the upcoming Fox TV series Gotham, this time locking in actors for their young Bruce Wayne, who will of course one day go on to become Batman, and Selina Kyle, who eventually becomes Catwoman.
The show takes place in the earlier days of Gotham City when the future commissioner, James Gordon, is a rookie detective, and some of the city’s most infamous villains are beginning to make a name for themselves. Ben McKenzie will play the young Gordon.
At the time the show is set, Bruce Wayne is just a boy and still mourning the death of his parents. David Mazouz, the actor who played the young mute boy alongside Kiefer Sutherland on the Fox series Touch, has been cast to play Bruce Wayne.
Joining him is actress Camren Bicondova, who will play Selina Kyle, a teenage orphan who has a knack for picking pockets and can become dangerous when cornered.
The show will also star Sean Pertwee, Donal Logue, Jada Pinkett Smith, Robin Lord Taylor, Erin Richards, and Zabryna Guevara.
