There are plenty of mash-up videos floating around the internet, many of them not worth viewing; but sometimes, a video can be done so remarkably well, it needs to be shared using a little “force.” Super Smash Wars is one such video.

In two parts, this fan-made creation by animator James Farr combines the epic adventure of Star Wars with many classic Nintendo properties including The Legend of Zelda, Mario Bros., and Metroid. Using cartoon-style illustrations with old-school video game sequence to sequence action, Super Smash Wars grabs hold of your inner child and refuses to let go.
