The cast of Sons Of Anarchy gathered for a panel at San Diego Comic-Con on Sunday, but the group was missing one important person – star Charlie Hunnam, who plays Jax Teller, head of the SAMCRO. Hunnam was also absence from Guillermo del Toro’s panel for Crimson Peak, the Victorian gothic horror where he plays a doctor who’s unrequitedly in love with the film’s female lead (played by Mia Wasikowska).
So, why didn’t Hunnam make it to Comic-Con this year? Check out the video here below which was played during the SOA panel where the actor sends a message about missing the event. It’s quite humorous and alluring, not your run-of-the-mill “sorry I’m not there” message – you’ll definitely want to watch this.
Also, Hunnam was recently a victim of one of those internet death hoaxes, so TMZ did one of their ambushes on the actor, who actually did address the issue with them. Unfortunately, the paparazzo here had to ask a ridiculous question in the end and totally turn the impromptu interview into something awkward. You can watch the video of that here below as well.
