Doctor Who TARDISblend Banner

After an unexpected event in Clara Oswald’s (Jenna Coleman) life, she turns on the Doctor (Peter Capaldi), threatening him unless he does what she wants. But there is much more afoot elsewhere, as the mysterious woman known only as Missy (Michelle Gomez) reveals herself, and the secrets of the Nethersphere.

During TARDISblend 82, we review the giant reveals and massive spoilers from the first part of the Doctor Who finale, entitled “Dark Water.” We also discuss how things came together for this plotline, and speculate on where things may go for next week’s conclusion.

All this and more on the latest TARDISblend!

Presented by Greg Davies (cGt2099 from The BLENDOVER Podcast and The Heavy Metal Historian Podcast) and geek journalist Tom Cheredar of VentureBeat, TARDISblend is a podcast that takes a look at the ongoing adventures in the Doctor Who Universe – as Peter Capaldi makes his beginnings as the next Doctor!

  1. LOVED this episode, so much awesome. The Master as a Time Lady! That alone would have been enough, but Capaldi’s unreal performance seals his turn as The Doctor. I agree with you, Greg, he is definitely the best of new Who. The delivery of the line ‘Go to Hell’, that was just perfection. Moffat continues to impress with this scripts and I can’t wait to see how they tie this all up next week. All I’m saying is that they better not dispose of Missy, she’s an enthralling actress to watch and her gracefully unhinged portrayal would be missed in the future. Bring on ‘Death in Heaven’!
