‘Star Wars: Episode VII’ Titled ‘The Force Awakens’

Principal photography for Star Wars: Episode VII wrapped last Friday, but it still left fans wondering what the subtitle of the film will be. If anything the Star Wars titles tell us a lot about the film, but considering how secretive director J.J. Abrams can be and how tight security was on set, whatever the subtitle is revealed to be, it will only be a look through a very small keyhole.
The official Star Wars twitter account tweeted out a very interesting image today that reveals the full name of this much-awaited sequel.
The tweet reads: “Star Wars: The Force Awakens has completed principal photography. #StarWarsVII #TheForceAwakens.” So there it is, the official Star Wars: Episode VII title has been fully revealed. The hashtags and accompanying title card pretty much confirm that The Force Awakens is the official title. The reveal couldn’t have come at a better time. With the rumors flying around that a teaser trailer will hit before the end of the year, it makes more sense to reveal the title now, instead of waiting.
Starring John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Max von Sydow, Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Anthony Daniels, and more, Star Wars: Episode VII: The Force Awakens, opens in theaters on December 18, 2015.

That’s not a very good title…I hope this is a joke somehow! But if the movie is good, I guess I don’t really care what the title is.
