Release Date: November 25, 2014 In the not-too-distant future… The latest collection of episodes from Mystery Science Theater 3000 celebrates the cult television series’ Turkey Day tradition. First held in 1991 to commemorate the show’s third anniversary, the MST3K Turkey Day marathon aired on Comedy Central from midnight, November 28, to 6:00 a.m. on November 29. The annual Turkey Day marathon aired on Comedy Central until 1995, and the Sci-Fi Channel ran a Thanksgiving MST3K marathon in 1997, unofficially known as Turkey Day ’97. Last year, Shout! Factory produced an online six-episode marathon of MST3K episodes, hosted by Joel Hodgson to celebrate the show’s 25th anniversary. Now Shout! Factory is bringing the tradition home with MST3K: Volume XXXI, The Turkey Day Collection. This collector’s edition set includes four turkeys: Jungle Goddess, The Painted Hills, The Screaming Skull, and Squirm.

| Geek Peek: See Hugh Jackman As Blackbeard In First Peter Pan Origins Movie Images
The first images from Pan, the upcoming Peter Pan origins movie being directed by Joe Wright (Pride & Prejudice, Atonement, Hanna), have found their way online. The images offer us our first peek at star Hugh Jackman, who’s set to play the dreaded pirate Blackbeard, in full costume. The Peter Pan villain everyone is most familiar with, Hook, is also in the movie (played by Garrett Hedlund), though back before he was a bad guy when he was more of a “dashing Indiana Jones-like figure.” You can check out the first images from the movie including Jackman as Blackbeard below.

Originally the Jurassic World trailer was scheduled for a Thanksgiving Day release. But since the Internet is known to be a bit impatient, Universal went ahead and launched the trailer online early. Check it out here below. The trailer shows that this won’t be the Jurassic Park films we remember. The park is now back in full control of the humans. There are interactive rides, safaris, even a water show where they use shark as bait. Of course a park that looks as gorgeous as this, and one that has such an iconic entrance, anyone would be eager to jump on the first plane to Isla Nubar.

| Oscar Isaac To Play Titular Villain In ‘X-Men: Apocalypse’ |

Production for X-Men: Apocalypse is set to begin soon, and with director Bryan Singer and writer Simon Kinberg working on the script, casting new roles for the film is currently underway. We’ve recently learned that Fox is looking at a shortlist of actors and actresses to fill the roles of Jean Grey and Cyclops, but while they have yet to find who can fill them, they have settled on Oscar Isaac to play the role of the legendary mutant Apocalypse.
